this is an awsome ride for first time roller coaster riders the first lift u go up like 2 or 3 feet then u go around then u go up 32 feet then u drop into total darknes where u cant see anything
I went on to this ride not knowing that it was a coater and i was very suprised with the speed and the fun unexpected drops.
I rode this once and will never ride it again. I hate indoor coasters and this is no exception. I guess its because I cant see the track, but I just do not like this.
Despite what others have to say, I happen to really like this ride. The themeing isnt bad, and the ride is fun. But you should ride it at night. Ive been on this in the day and night, and in the day you can see the track because there is alot of light coming through. But the drop is awesome, especially sitting in the back. A good, in-the dark roller coaster.
This is a complete waste of time. I suppose because its in the dark, its supposed to be cool. Space Mountain came years before this thing and, as lame as that ride is, destroys this thing. So there you have it. Skull Mountain...the name is synonymous with crap.
It was kinda mediocre. The outside of the building and the line area are more themed than usual for 6 flags, but nothing great. The ride is in total darkness. Its not bad - no big drops, but it zigzags around in a way thats good... except its too dang short. This is no Space Mountain.
its in the dark, i guess that gives it a cool feature, but no big thrills. not really any sudden or good drops like in spaze mountain. Cool to look at but there are much better rides in the park
I thought it was a pretty fun little indoor coaster with some nice helices and when we went it was pitch black inside. Sure, I would have liked to have seen the strobes that the signs warned of, but Ill take what I got because it was a fun ride nonetheless. Yeah.
An okay indoor coaster. Did NOT like the lap belts. I think this ride could be helped with some actual theming to it. At least stick in some dayglo paintings or some creepy stuff to make it more enjoyable. This one is probably more for the kiddies. I think this is another one that could use some more queue control as well.
Believe it or not I like this ride, but only when i sit in the back seat. You get a cool twist in your stomach on the first drop, after that it is ok. Cool coaster for kids, good family ride but they definitly could do something with the theming like stobe lights ,cause you could tell you are in just a "warehouse" atmosphere with the lights turned off.
