all the times i go to sfgadv the batman side is cool. this ride is very loud after it boosts up to the cobra roll. i like the in-line twist that makes you feel weightless. this ride can have some long queues. any queue over 30 minutes dont get one

this is a a great ride! i love going through the twist backwards. And that Launch is awsome, although not as good as kingda kas of course but awsome non the less. I still havent ridden the batman side because its always closed. Does anyone know if its gonna be open anytime soon?

The Nitro and Meduasa are much better.... but it still is pretty fun. Take in mind I have only ridden it once and that Time people lets us cut them right to the front of the line in the back row (dont ask me why) and ride it there so my exsperience of it might be wrong but any way.... It was the first time I had ever felt dizzy after going on the looper coaster in a long time.

(Only the Robin side reviewed... only the Robin side open) A distant cousing to the Boomerang style coaster... leave the station, roll, inversion, up the spike, then the whole thing backward. HOWEVER... how it is done is much better... fast launch through the inversion, the inversion is roll and not a loop, a little hop, then the spike, then do it all again backward. Do they ever run the Batman side?

I loved it. Plain and simple, and I can;t figure out why it was a walk-on. The ride may have just been a short launch, but it was still spectacular. Though I didnt care for the Premier trains (as usual) all too much, they still have that one magical thing good about them: lap bars. Oh, was that great. I love going through inversions without shoulder harnesses, which is probably why Im a sucker for Schwarzkopfs. The launch was nice, about as forceful as Kas, but the inersions in the lap bars is what really gets me good. The cobra roll was fun, but the real clincher was the barrel roll, which probided an indescribably awesome sensation. Oh yea: we got to do it backwards Though it is the most confused and one of the ugliest masses of steel in existence, appearence doesnt make or break this ride, and it was yet another solid Great Adventure coaster. Sadly, we missed out on the Batman side, and I still havent been on an inside top hat

I found this to be a decent ride but with some definite drawbacks. Only the Robin side was working when I was there. The wait time was way too long for such a short ride. It didnt help that I had annoyingly loud people behind me in line as well as people who thought everyone would get a treat by hearing their cell phone songs at full volume. The ride ops did a decent job but there was way too much chaos when you finally arrived in the part of the building with the final queue. People were standing all over the place. The only clear path was to the front car. I also found that both the seats and restraints were uncomfortable. Nice launch, though. Wish the ride were a bit longer. Im not sure Id ride it again unless both sides were working.

This ride was finally operating on my fourth visit to SFGAdv...unfortunately only the Robin side. I was a little annoyed because I reeeally wanted to ride the Batman side... the top hat looks so awesome! Anyway, the launch cant really compare with that of the 3 launch coasters at PKD, so it didnt really do anything for me. The rest of the coaster is pretty good and overall very intense, gotta love going backwards. I liked it but to me it just wasnt that special, but it still shouldnt be missed.

wow what a coaster. Ive only ridden the Robin part but it was amazing. I loved going backwards. the only bad part of it is the fact that it takes forever for them to load the cars up. So your sitting in line waiting then finally you move like 10 steps forward. Although for me, it was worth the wait. i cant wait the ride the batman part( if im ever there while its open).

VERY COOL RIDE, EXCEPT DONT HOLD ON TO THE BAR ON THE SEAT IN FRONT OF YOU..I GOT OFF AND I THOUGHT MY ARM HAD BEEN PULLED OFF. NEXT TIME I WILL JUST HOLD ON TO MY LAP RESTRAINT...BATMAN SIDE IS MUCH BETTER..LOVE THE INSIDE TOP HOT..GOING BACKWARDS WAS COOL.

Robin side: I am actually kind of ashamed to say it, but I actually liked this thing. It looks like something that a retarded monkey could have designed with its simplicity, but it actually works. I apologize to the ride for anything that I have said bad about it in the past. I used to think that it was one of the worst 15 million dollar investments that the park has ever made, but it was decent. I was not able to experience the ride pre-just lapbars, so I cant comment on that, but the lapbars are very secure. I always bashed this ride because it was like a one element thing, eventhough it has two, and then you just go backwards through it all, but it was a lot of fun. The launch was not overly powerful, which was fine, but it was not overly smooth either. That might just be age showing or a sign of the problems that they have had with it in the past. The cobra roll is my favorite element, which might be why I liked it so much. The ride was short, but pretty intense. I was fairly disoriented when I got off. There was a bit of head knocking going on while going backwards, but nothing unbearable. One problem with it was the fact that I was pretty well crammed into the seat. I dont know what is with this park with having two extremes. The first being having some of the most comfortable seats out there (Nitro, Medusa) and then having ones where a 510" 180 pounder feels like he is going to die from being cramped (Rolling Thunder, Runaway Mine Train, Chiller). Next, the themeing is pretty cheesy and lame and fairly cheap looking. The ride is very load too. This is a good ride to get on when there is a minimal wait, but since it is so short it is not worth a long wait. Pretty cool ride though. Im glad to see that it is actually up and running now.

Batman side: Have not ridden. Not operational. Ride op said that it should be open by Memorial Day 2005. I cant wait to get into that inside top hat.
