Well, it's a haunted house, not very scary. Although I have to say it was the best one I've ever been through, and you walk through it instead of ride! You're in there for a good 5 or 6 minutes. I recommend walking with your hands in front of you, there's walls that you didn't expect to be there.
This attraction was definitely the standout of my trip to this park. From the outside it looks like a real run down looking house and not the usual theme park equivalent of fibreglass. It had darker imagery than I expected mixed with a dose of macabre whimsy similar to parts of Haunted Mansion at Disney. Overall, a surprisingly dark haunted house at a tame kiddy park.
The atmosphere surrounding this haunted house was just perfect. It is in a secluded location of the park, amongst all of the trees, and it is very elaborately decorated to look like, well, a spooky haunted house. You get to walk through at your own pace, and it was actually quite a lengthy trip. There were no actual live characters jumping out trying to scare you, only figures controlled robotically, and it was somewhat hit or miss (mostly hits, Ill admit, with just a few misses). It struck a good balance between actual scares and scary humor, much like the Haunted Mansion at the Disney parks. I like to really take my time and enjoy walking through these slowly, and thats somewhat challenging when all kinds of other groups come charging through so quickly that I cant believe they really see much of anything. Anyway, I guess theres not really much that can be done about that. This is, overall, a decent haunted house attraction. Ive seen better, but Ive also seen much worse.
I thought this was a cute haunted house ride. Its like one of the only walk thruough haunted houses left!!!
