Children will enjoy this ride for the excitement of Wolfman (or may be frightened by him), and adults will find Wolfman wryly amusing and enjoy the scenery. It's a nice shady train ride, good for relaxation.
Amusing trains ride that takes you down a 1-mile stretch of river. You get a little history, a little humor, and some excitement for the kids as the Wolfman chases the train and stops at different points along the route to yell and set off a shot gun. The wanted posters of the Wolfman is a nice touch. As for the train, it is made up of over sized wagon cars with benches. They are comfortable enough, but I have been taking train rides since I was a kid and there is nothing authentic about this train. That said, I think this is the best attraction in the park, and the kids really get a kick out of it. Definitely not worth a special trip, but if it’s on your way and you don’t mind dropping some extra cash, you might find this ride diverting.
This was an awesome ride. I remember riding it when I was around 8 or 9, and I also remember being terrified of the Wolfman, having never bene on it before. Once we got on the ride though, I found it to be very fun and entertaining, and the Wolfman was very good at convincing people he was a wildman. Overall, a perfect family ride.
The White Mountain Central Railroad takes you over a covered bridge and into to Wolfmans Territory. Throughout this scenic 25 minute ride the train is constantly harassed by Wolfman, a disgruntled mountain man trying the keep the riders away from his ore claim.
His outfit is reminiscent of the Moondogs from late 1970s WWWF fame.
He chases the train in a car reminiscent of a MadMax bad guy vehicle and threatens the passengers with a assortment of weapons. Guns, machete, bombs and molatov cocktails, this guy is down set on keeping us way from the unobtainium deposit. The fact that a bear trap is hooked up to the front of his car and it repeatedly opens and closes is amusing.
A very enjoyable excursion. More kitsch and corn from the Clarks.
This ride is a little corny, but corny entertainment is okay when presented well. The train ride is good for relaxation.
Great scenery ride through the woods. The Wolfman is also a nice touch for the kids.
A fun train ride but I found it to be a little weak at the end by ending under a freeway. The show was entertaining and the storyline was very funny.
This is a surprisingly good show. Too bad the train ride isnt longer.
the best thing about this ride it its WORLDS FAMOUSE Dead End.
I like this ride. It depends on the tour guide, too, though, although, not as much as the Tuttle House or the Disney Jungle Cruise. The Wolfman is funny and the woods are nice.
