Really fun. Pretty intense first drop. Just a fun filled pile of twisted wood. The one train thing does stink though.
At first I was going to give this ride a 8, but Im changing that to an 9 after my second ride which was much better than my first. I really loved the first drop and the layout. My biggest complaint is that at times the ride would pull really sudden menuevers that arent meant for a woodie. As a result, you had to ride defensively, however, it was still a great ride and I liked it.
A great ride that feels out of control. I was mad the day I went because they only ran one train, making the wait 45 minutes and rerides a hastle.
A good set up an awesome ride but to rough but othe then that its awesome
This has to be one of the coolest wooden coasters ive ridden (followed closely by Cyclone in SFNE) it has that feel of a woodie, that of out-of-control, rough, wild, hold on to yer hats rides that, however rough it is, people must ride over and over again. Due to it being my first woodie, it gets a high marking to a 10. But due to the shortness of it, it gets a 7, add a point for wonderful lay-out, it gets an 8. A definate must ride at Hershey.
I visted Hershey yesterday. I rode this only once. OUCH!! If they took the trains from lightning racer and stuck them on here, it would be a much better ride. Other people on my train were also saying "ow" after the train pulled into the station. The trains bump and jump too much to be comfortable. This is too bad because the layout is thrilling and very fast. The track turns over and under itself quite a few times, making it unique. I do recommend riding it, but be warned that it may hurt your head a bit.
One of the best wooden roller coasters Ive been on. It is really fast and really gives you that out-of-control feeling.
Good, doesnt give you much air time, but still, a lightning racer type ride that crosses over and under itself 20 times. The thing is, when they take your picture they take it at the end when youre not enjoying the ride as much. Still, ranks up there in my lists.
Not quite good enough to get an 8. I rode it twice midday, once front and once back and didnt get the out of control woodie feel on those two rides. Front - offers no air. Back - you get a little air and quite a few lateral Gs. But you always have to give a woodie another chance. I rode it late in the day in the back and rode with my eyes closed and this time it finally really throw me around.
Probably the best GCI coaster that doesnt feature Millennium Flyer trains. This ride is truly an out of control coaster if I ever did see one. Wildcat delivers bone shaking attiude from the top of the lift all the way to the brake run. Through out the ride, your blitzed with severe action and amazing drops and twists making this one of the best wooden coasters opened in the 90s.
