Really cool. I loved the feeling of flying and it was a long ride too. Loading was slow though and the restraints were a tad uncomfortable so it looses a point.

This ride would have been amazing if it were not for the restraints. They made me very uncomfortable and hurt my knees. Other than that it is an amazing ride.

Nightwing was an amazing flat ride that definitely is a one-of-a-kind experience. Located in the DC Comics section of the park, Nightwing is a Huss Fly Away. Its the only Huss Fly Away in America. The best way to describe Nightwing is that its a slower version of the enterprise except you ride in the flying position. I had heard that Nightwings capacity was a nightmare. Well, Nightwing was a walk-on when I rode it and I rode on the outside. The restraints definitely were snug, and I cant complain about them because I personally havent been on another flying ride that has better restraints than this. I heard that the loading process was very long, so I was expecting to wait around 3-5 minutes before the ride started. Could I have been more wrong? Nightwing took 10 minutes to load, no exaggeration! That is way too long for a ride at a major amusement park like this or any amusement park for that matter. Only one person was checking the restraints, which might be the reason for the long loading times. They should have at least two or three people checking the restraints to speed up the process. At least Nightwing has a lot of vehicles so it can hold a good amount of people. Once the ride begins, the vehicles gain speed and fly around in a circle. Then the entire ride elevates and then it provides an amazing sensation. Once the vehicles travel over the top they dive back down to the ground, which was very fun. Also, Nightwing pulled some good Gs diving towards the ground. My favorite part of the ride was when the entire ride went vertical and you actually went upside down. While vertical the ride did quite a few inversions. Nightwing has a very good ride cycle and definitely is one of the better ones that the park has to offer. If it werent for the loading process I would have considered giving Nightwing a 10 (it felt like a 9.5), but the loading process bumps this one down to an 9. Also, I would have liked to see Nightwing go a little faster, but the ride itself was very fun so that isnt too big of a complaint. Anyone who enjoys flying rides or enterprises probably will enjoy Nightwing. Overall, Nightwing was an exceptional flat ride that is hampered severely by a tedious and poor loading process.

I must be totally out of touch with my superhero comics, as I had no idea who Nightwing was. Apparently this is Robin after his partnership with Batman ended. Thats news to me--I never knew they parted ways. Anyway, on to what really matters, the ride itself. This flat is generically called a Fly Away, built by Huss, and its very reminiscent of an Enterprise, except that riders lie flat on their stomachs. The load time on this thing was very slow, and the vehicles were certainly unusual (picture yourself being strapped into a waffle iron), but the ride itself was pretty cool. It was much more intense than an Enterprise, especially rounding the top upside down and then diving head-first back toward the ground. It ran for a decent duration and it looks very good in front of Superman.

Very fun ride, and the only Fly-Away in the US (Im pretty sure). Each dip feels as if youre going to hit the ground. You also get a good view of Supermans second half from the top. Nightwing is like an Enterprise on steroids. The ride isnt uncomfortable at all to me, but some have complained about it.

This ride is great! The first thing that bothered me was how long the line was. The seats had weird plastic bubbles. It didnt hurt too much though. Once it started, I had an awesome time. At first, it felt like standing up. Then I got nervous each time thinking "here comes the dive." Then it starts going back more, and it feels just like lying down (because it is.) Then it happens. You fly towards the ground for a while, and then the process starts all over. This is a must-ride! It rules!

Very fun ride. the flying position is comfy, the spinning and turning is fun, and it makes you feel sick, a perfect combo for any spin-and-puke ride!

Once you get past the cramped space this ride is great! Its like having a miniature flying coaster at SFNE!
