This ride is absolutely ruined by the brake hill after the tunnel. I cant believe the train had enough speed to make it through the helix, it didnt seem to be moving fast. However right after the helix the brakes were violently applied thrusting my stomach into the lapbar (ouch). I guess the train wasnt moving "that" slow. Then we pull into the station and it violently stops again. So I think the ride ops might purposely be joking with someone they know on the train, but I ride it again and the same thing happens. Whether, it was done purposefully or not it wasnt fun.
A great Schwarzkopf looper. The use of terrain and interaction with other rides in Comet Hollow makes this ride the surprise hit of my trip to Hershey. The lack of OTSR helped this ride out amazingly as well. After all, theres nothing more liberating than spreading your hands high as you go through a classic Scwarzkopf loop.
This was my first coaster Ive ever ridden and was my favorite. 6 years later and it is still in the top 15 coasters on my list.
A great name for a coaster. It is also really fun. Its not supposed to be intense, its just supposed to be a ride that was made back before all the coaster technology. Great area of the park with all the rides in that area. Plus no otsr restraints.
An excellent ride at HersheyPark, with an intense loop. A great classic ride, only the second looper in the country!
Best ride in the park, after lightning racer. The loop is awesome and the helix is a little tame but neat. Deserves a 10 in my book. People think this ride isnt intense. I think it is, but not as intense as moost roller coasters. Intensity doesnt really matter to me as long as i like the ride, which i did. It hs the perfect layout, but if everything was a little bit higher it wouldve been better than lightning racer.
The loop is awsome! After that its all rigt but a little tame. It has a good helix though.
The ride itself was nothing special except for the loop and the helix. The only other exciting part is having you head slammed into the seat when the train hits the brake run. Would have gotten a five except the lack of those annoying over the shoulder restraints earns it another point.
a pretty good drop with a smooth loop. a good coaster, but a little bit tame.
I love this ride. Today, all amusement parks ever worry about is about making bigger, faster, and scarier rides, but this ride is one of the tamer ones. There should be more rides like this for when you just want to chill out but want a slight thrill.
