The scenery and decor was good, and the actor playing the tour guide did a decent job. But the on screen acting was horrible. The most interesting thing about this show was the water tunnel.

This show was very good, entertaining, and the special effects and theming were great. The story was a little bit confusing but I enjoyed it alot. The actors really got into their job. I liked the water tunnel and the temple room.

The special effects are pretty cool but the movie at the end and the acting dont quite cut it. Only a 7

I rather enjoyed this show. The actor made a big impact, and this guy loved his job and was really into it, and he interacted well with the non-human elements. The themeing on the outside is just plain amazing, as well as beautiful. I thought the finale was an awesome mix of fire and water effects, and projecting onto water really struck me as cool. I enjoyed the plot, certainly nothing overly extravagant but still pretty good. The set in the finale was huge and amazing, and the battle was pretty cool. I liked the water tunnel thing as well, definately a cool thing, and the initial room was well-themed as a temple room, but that is all that I want to say without giving out anything too detailed about the story.Update: I woke up this morning and wanted to give it the 8, and I think Ill stick with it.

Let me first say that my review is for Poseidons Fury Escape from the Lost Citys first version and second averaged together. Yes, you heard correctly. The version now playing (with the tourguide and the darkennon) was not the original. The original story was a bit harder to follow, but absolutely brilliant, involving an old man who turns out to be Zeus. In the original, Poseidon was evil and Zeus was good. In the new on, Poseidon is good and Lord Darknennon is evil. Confusing, I know, but hey... The original deserves a 10. The new deserved a 6 or so. I only rate the second version (tourguide) one low because... come on! This is Universal. Next door is a boat ride filled with moderately life like dinosaurs, but the best they can do in this ride is blacklight text! This isnt Chuckie Cheeses. Plus, the story is just dumb, plus the final battle isnt anythign spectacular. int he alst one, there was fire AND water, plus the characters on screen were computer animated and pretty cool. In the newest version, there is only water, and the final battle takes place on what are obviously movie screens and they have old men in tights dancing around. Seriously, the first was way better.

Although Im reminded of carnival fun houses that look great from the outside, but dont offer much once you walk in, this is still an interesting attraction. The water tunnel is especially neat.

A well themed but in some ways poorly executed attraction. The tour guide is very good as is the outdoor themeing and the secret message on the wall. However the projections are of low quality during the final fight scene. This attraction is also a bit slow in parts.

wow! amazing building!!! but the actual attraction was sooo boring!! i thought we were going 2 go on a flume ride or something but nothing happened....

I had a great guide, he really got everyone into it. The water tunnel was great, and I left happy. I do agree with some other reviews, this could be amazing with just a few things. Im not sure what, but there was something lacking. Perhaps that... dare I say it... Disney touch...

i have to disagree with the guy who says its just fire and water jets. its also really annoying acting coupled with projected images duking it out from screen to screen. the theme and set is really gorgeous, but I just wasnt feeling it for this thing.
