The Great Bear is a good inverted coaster, but missing a lot. The location of the coaster limits the track to just four inversions and that is the whole ride. The placement of the track was ingenious, and it is a lot of fun going over the water. The immelmann is the best inversion of the four. Overall, its fun, but its lack of turns doesnt deliver the lateral gs that an inverted coaster like Batman-The Ride may deliver, but incredibly smooth inversions make the ride a very good B&M inverted coaster.

A fairly good B&M invert with incredible foot chopers. This would be a great first inverted ride. It could, however use more elements.

Certainly not the best of the many B&M inverteds Ive had the chance to ride and it actually makes Talon seem like a long ride in comparison, but what it does, it does well. The helix before the big drop is very unique. After the drop its just a quick loop, immelman, zero-G combo then a straightaway behind Superdooperlooper a quick wingover (corkscrew) and a little S-turn and back in. Worth a ride or two, but there are definitely better B&M inverteds out there (one resides just 70 miles away at Dorney). Itd make a great "first half" to a longer coaster, but it almost feels like when the first part is done, that there should be a "second half" is missing and you just return to the station.

Very fun, I think it has a little edge over Talon at Dorney Park, although they are both great rides. Im not sure what it has over talon, it just has something special.

One of my favorite coasters that ive ridden in ages! Very smooth and just an awesome feeling. Nighttime is crazy. Wish i could have rode it more! Wouldve liked to try the front seat, but line was too long. Got on within 25 minutes or less though for the other seats.

Great! This is an awesome ride, although not as good as Montu in my opinion. Try this in the front row, on the seaqt furthest to the right. Youll see why I rated this a 9

This is fun inveryt, but nothing compared to Raptor at CP. Great feeling of hitting the water and awesome zero-G roll. Other than that, however, the ride seems a little slow and lacks the intensity of the better inverts out there.

Wow. As someone else said, a solid 9. The first time I rode it, I was in the middle of the coaster, right seat. When riding in that spot, I thought 8. Then, though, since the park had just opened and there was only a 10 minute wait, I went on front row, right seat, and it was simply amazing! Some of the footchoppers that I experienced from that seat were things that I had never experienced before. Plus, the helix after the lift hill is one-of-a-kind. Yes, the ride is short and could use more. But, its good enough to get a 9, and a 9 is what it deserves. Its the best at the park, just edging itself over Lightning Racer.

I like this inverted but I rank Raptor, Talon, Aplengeist ahead of it, so it gets a seven.

Solid 9 - that helix to the left after the lift hill is great, and I love the imelman after the loop. Overall very good quality, its just that Ive ridden Aplengeist and Raptor, know they are better and gave them 10s, so GB has to only get a 9.
