I didnt like the one at SFGAv and this one is just as bad. Its very rough and has unoriginal theming.

Tom Im sorry but there is no way in hell This B&M is rough. There was one spot of roughness it was like a half a second.

No, these batman rides are very rough this one especially. Its very uncomfortable and the theming lacks originality....I really did not lke any of these rides....the best of the batmans is in SFMM and that one is more spread out than others. The second half was the worst part because its so squished together

Certain areas wheather and yearly climate can alter them over the years. They can be different eventually.

I didnt find this ride rough, but very intense.

yea i know that toaddy, he was saying that the physical layout was different, of course the details like smoothness are goin to vary due to climate and age!

They arent that different. Still fast, short, and furious.

I havent been on this exact BTR, but I know it doesnt deserve a 2. Its a great, very intense ride.

I went on this exact Batman this summer. I must tell you the ride is smooth as glass and is very intense. The only reason the ride might be remotely rough is because of the high G forces. Other than that, there is no way in [heck] that this ride is anything but. Plus, theming-wise, its carried out quite well. Yes, it isnt original but most of the themes for B:TR are the same anyway, so it doesnt really matter.

While I may not agree with this review, I will make this note as far as rough vs. smooth. Rider size and body type can make all the difference in the world. To my one friend, Mantis at CP is smooth and wonderful, to my taller self on the same ride, its headbanging time. When your body hits the restraints, the size of your body, your height, build, and weight all play a factor .. and it varies greatly from person to person. Two 5 foot tall female friends of mine (one very skinny, one average build) have ridden PKIs Vortex side by side. To the skinny one, it was smooth and wonderful ... to the average build one, she kept getting her head rammed into the restraints and was left with a headache. I have never experienced the "hang and bang" syndrome of Vekoma SLCs, but its a common enough complaint that Im certain it exists for some. For that matter, Son Of Beast as always been a mean coaster for me, but never unbearable painful. However, rode it this weekend after losing an addition 25#s since my last ride, and I was getting slammed horribly all over the place. Every little bit seems to count ... granted Ive always found the BATMAN rides to be 100% smooth sailing.

I rode my local Batman a week or so ago. Nope, theres no way any of these can be rough. After being open for 9 years, it was still smoothe. And others think so too since it had a 45 min. line. Even with all the newer rides in my local SF.
