Review of Behemoth @ Canadas Wonderland

It had been a while since I had been on a Bolliger and Mabillard hyper coaster. I remembered the majestic drops and comfort of Apollo and was eager to step aboard Behemoth. Much like Apollo, Behemoth is an incredibly fun and rerideable coaster. I visited the park on an off-day since lines were minimal, but despite this the park ran three trains on the coaster. The line moved swiftly thanks to lightning fast dispatches and I did not wait longer than 20 minutes for any of my rides. After climbing the lift, Behemoth starts the air-time filled journey with an excellent first drop. It is s very steep and treats back seat riders to sustained floater air the whole way down, which is enhanced by the simple lap bar restraints. The train then rockets up the massive second hill and ejects all riders from their seats before delving into a forceful and disorienting turnaround. Then the return leg begins and it kicks off the festivities with three fast and furious hills. Each gracefully launches riders from their seats, but the air-time is noticeably more intense towards the back. While the front has floater air, the back has some ejector air. After cruising through a quick brake run, Behemoth soars down a solid helix and then flies over the final air-time hill that ends the coaster on a high note. Of the Bolliger and Mabillard hypers I have been on, Behemoth checks in a close second just behind Apollo. The smoothness of the coaster combined with the abundant air-time makes it a winner and the best attraction in the park by far. I personally enjoyed the back seat over the front thanks to the first drop and the more forceful air, but there is not a single bad seat on this coaster.
