Though it's been surpassed in speed, height, and inversions, Flight of Fear is an incredible, incredible ride. Easily the best themed at Kings Island (since the sad departure of Tomb Raider), Flight of Fear has everything a great coaster needs: speed, force, and a story. The queue line ought to be award-winning. And as for the ride itself? Probably one of the most disorienting experiences you can have. The ride takes place in a giant "spaghetti bowl" of track, with supports and track absolutely surrounding you the entire time, lit only by dim, colored spotlights. There's a constant illusion of a near-miss with the huge supports surrounding you, and you truly and honestly cannot tell which way is up, which is down, etc.
