It has a great start, a mediocre middle, and a decent ending. Easily the best coaster in the park.

I agree this coaster really is a steady decling thoughout the whole ride.

It just doesnt retain the intensity that the one at SFNE does. I was very disappointed when I rode it. I just didnt believe that it could be so different.

I second that. I didnt know if the train was going to make it over the bunny hills or not.

Wow, I must have hit this coaster on a good night. I rode it 15 times or more. Many times without getting off. I rode in every seat it seemed and the sheer power and speed of the train seemed unstopable at the end of the ride.

from what i wave seen their are section that are straight or a single hill where two would have sit. they seamed to go cheap on this ride. it was put in to just be a hypers and another coaster for the park and area.

but remember also, this was Intamins first hyper and a prototype so it wasnt expected to be perfect. same thing with SFAs, i guess. only mirrored. wow steven, guess you did hit it on a good night as I only get to go about 2 or 3 times every vacation because of the lines. good for you!

Then they should instal somthig like water cannons next to the track. You now in the superherow cartoons they fly over water water shots out do to the speen.

that would be awesome, especially on the straight track. also, it would be somewhat realistic because theres a lake right next to each straight track

yep and I bet they never even though or consedered it. Six FLags always is laking is theming and creativity.

Six Flags and theming, are two words that do not belong in the same sentance. Unless its Six Flags SUCKS ASS at their theming!

very true. but is y last post it ws there to talk bad about it and inthat cans gets the exeption. but, I think shucks ass is a little under the truth.

i dont know why but they also seems to lack in consistency of the theming also. for example, SFMM or SFGA have adequate themeing while parks like SFA have almost no theming at all. Have some or none at all, I say (I think they should go with #1)

Thow alot of small amusment park are having wellthemed area look at Camobie Laek parks Old Camobie Vilage and YE old Boston, and Funtown USAs chines theme around Dragons decent and the hole theming leading up to Excaliber.

SIx Flags never has theming. Their parks just have theming because the proior ownweship, before SIx Flags bought it out.

Teh first Six Flags as in(SFOT) was themed. they mant to be a themepark. thow as they got bought out by premeir parks they took on parks that wernt and just modefide them to be themed. this dosnt work

true but it dont take much to theme well and it dosnt take alot of money either. it comes down to them becoming laysy and yes cheap.

i agree with you mrceagle. SFOT is very well themed, landscaping-wise, with the best tree"ing" ive ever seen. why SF couldnt have done this with at least SOME of their parks, are beyond me.

Because that would take time. why spend more time and money when peaple come for the rides. SFinc is a glorifide amusment park. they can do it they just rather keep the money for them self.

That is not nessesearily true. A good park needs good, well maintaned rides, a well trained and enthusiastic staff, and managment that can balance the finances to make the park both finacially susseccful and reasonably priced. This is something that Six Flags no longer seems to understand. Themeing is secondary to those things.

True but theiy have the rides and dont put seanery for themeing around it. yes a park needs good rides. but if your calling yourself a themepark you need to think of the theming at the same time.

Thats an exellent point again. THEMEPARK...hmmm...is that just to lure customers into one of their mediocre parks or are they being serious about this title. Ill take #1

Becouse they now a large magority of the peaple comign are coming for the coaster. they dont look at things like you or I do. as enthusiasts we look at a biger picture. thow this parks should be catering to our standards. they chose to lower themselves to the magority that could care less.
it work in the past. but with more peaple now visiting true theme parks like IOA , Universal, adn disney it no longer sufices and their lef tin the dark.
another reason is the expansion from buying already astablished parks. thow this was more cost afective and removed compitition, it forced them to take a non themed park and transform it into a theme park. this leads to a bleack themed park and an even porer themepark experiance.

the only parks i think Six Flags has actually improved is SFNE, so ive heard, SFDL [because of Superman mainly. before its incorporation, the park was very unknown. although its seemed to have been dropped in a way, at least theres a ligitamate reason to go] and SFWoA [although, besides rides, this park is wreched]. all the others really arent on the best track by having SF as their owners

Why do you think Busch Gardens gets rated so high. It has two good coasters, thats it! It just has AMAZING SCENERY!

Best scenery in any park in the world, id say but you know what? Its natural so its a little different. That part, in particular, of Virginia has an abundance of trees and dont forget the James River which just HAPPENS to be there. So does BGW have to grow any trees or plant many flowers. NOT AT ALL! You think a place like, lets say, Houston [SFA] has a river or many trees. OF COURSE NOT! The trees that it DID have were obviously cut down for real estate! So, natural scenery [which really brings out a park more beautifully than artificial scenery], you cant exactly blame SF for. But, of course, on the other hand, if theyd choose better locations to own parks and create parks instead of building up rides, for example, in a park surrounded basically by skyscrapers, maybe they could have a sucessful park without even having to do much of anything theme-wise [just SFs type of thing!].

For starters the themeing at SFNE is ok. thow the areas that peaple praise as well themed areas at SFNE are the western town and the rockvill(50s)area both of which were built before six flags. they added the Super heroe area and updated the kidie land WB movie town.
The thing is they ofen remove the trees from the area and build or they only add cheper trees wile they could spend a little more and buy aged trees.

What I was trying to say is that a good park does not need theming. Look at parks like Dorney Park, Knoebels, or Cedar Point, they are all excellent parks with no theming in them. They are all run very well, have the right people working there, and are clean and friendly places to go. Six Flags parks are not. Six Flag has a problem with park theming, but it has a bigger problem with the parks themselves, and until the parks are cleaned up and made competitive with the local compitition (i.e. those small, local, clean, friendly parks) then the theming issue really does need to take a back seat. As it stands now, SF parks are seen (and largly true) as being dirty, crowded, inefficant, having rude employees, and overpriced. Why put up with all of that when you can go to that nice little park down the road, have a great time, and spend half as much money. Theming is the least of SFs problems.

verry true. ie SFNE atendance went down almost 10% last season wile canobie lake park went down 2% and lake compounce went down 4%. both the smaller rides took SFNE for the season. they are both cleaner compounce has no themeing wile canobie has a couple of themed areas in the park. both have freindly emplayer and cost much less.
