Ever since my first visit to Michigan's Adventure, this has been one of my favorite rides. In my opinion, it's one of the better pirate ship rides out there as it's actually out on the water. Not even the ejector air on Shivering Timbers rivals the sensation you get when the boat is falling. It's one of the few flat rides in any park that I ride every time I visit the park. The key to getting the best out of this ride is riding in the back. The middle is OK, but all the swings are amplified in the back seat.
