Sorry, Hard Rock Park, but this ride was below average. It's basically a re-themed HUSS Bee Bee ride. From what I've seen, heard, & read about this HUSS standard ride, the arms that support the cars are supposed to swing out 90 degrees like the old Allen Herschell Hurricane & Frank Hrubetz Saturn-6 rides used to do. Something's wrong somewhere on this one, however. Every other arm does indeed swing out, but barely a few degrees. And the ride seems to strain to lift those arms out...an air pressure issue? So you're basically getting a boring swing ride with an overkill design that never gets off the ground...bummer.
I don't know if they slowed this thing down to better appeal to families on what. But regardless, it's just pain boring. And it shows due to its low ridership. Its neighbor, "Just A Swingin' (a standard Wave Swinger) is always filled with people. The Muddin' Monster Race, looks like a winner, but ends up last. I was looking forward to its normal operation which looks remeninsant of the Apollo-10 or Saturn-6 rides from the '60s/'70s era where you're swung out almost parallel to the ground.
