Date Ridden: Summer of 2007 Times Ridden: 2 The "Roller Coaster", located way out in Farmington, UT, was a plseant surprise during my journey out west last summer. We drove in late one night and made it to Lagoon early the next morning with Wicked as our main objective. While it was disappointing to say the least (see review) this older woodie was not. Evidently at some point, it had suffered some problems (a local said it had caught on fire????) and the replacement pieces were obvious. Nonetheless it offered a smooth and enjoyable ride similar to Lake Winnies Cannonball giving me a sense of reverie and nostalgia. We had planned on riding each coaster once and then doing a couple of laps on Wicked due to the huge crowds, but I decided to forego my 2nd Wicked ride and instead wait about 10 minutes for another ride on this ACE classic. I do not regret it. There is not a lot of air or much of that wonderful out-of-control feeling that many older woodies offer. However, for the middle of freakin Utah, this is a great ride. Im going with a mid-7 grade that I just cant quite bump up into the 8 range. If you ever find yourself in the middle of Farmington (????) hop on a take a spin.
