Simply an amazing ride. I know a lot of people were down on it because it had a poor first and second season but this year it had a wonderful season and operated at levels that should be commended. The ride itself is simply unexplainable and even though it may seem like it would get boring it definitely makes you want to come back for more. The launch is intense and theres plenty of Airtime on both hills and the sensation fo speed and height are amazing. One of my top ten.

Welcome to the site! I agree about it being operated much more smoothly this season. On a nice summer day I got a walk on ride, which is like unheard of.

I dont recall there being airtime on this ride. Thats not to say that there isnt. I just glossed over this ride, and went back to the real star of the park, El Toro. Xcelerator definitely has airtime over its top hat. And I think Xcelerator is probably better than TTD or KK.

The airtime on these top hat rides can vary on any given day (or even any given ride). Its all about the speed of the train as it crests the top hat. The faster the speed, the more likely to have airtime, particularly toward the back of the train. I have ridden TTD 10 times, xcelerator 9 but KK only once due to the OTSRs which I think knock out any chance of airtime on it. On the other two, Ive had airtime cresting the top hat many times but I agree that xcelerator probably moves a little quicker at that point in the track. Just remember, that on these launch coasters, the speed varies on each launch. TTD does not go 120 MPH every single time. It may be a little over and under that depending on numerous factors. That is what determines the presence of airtime.
