The best way to sum up the Hulk is INCREDIBLE. I rode this the second year it opened once, but wished I could ride it more. Dominating the Marvel Superhero Island skyline, Bruce Banners green machine overlooks the much more tranquil lake. There certainly isnt anything tranquil about this B&M creation. Like the other B&Ms I have been on, this one is a work of art.

Now almost everything rules about the Incredible Hulk Coaster except for one thing, the wait times. I ended up waiting an hour and 1/2 for this during Spring Break. Universal was doing nothing wrong at all as they were loading this extremely fast and they had multiple trains running. The Hulk is just that popular and I certainly could see why after my ride!

After my long wait I was glad to have ended up with the back row. I boarded the comfortable, 4 across B&M trains and pulled down the secure and comfortable over-the-shoulder restraint. B&M trains are still my favorite on inverting coasters. After the quick safety check I was dispatched and the train began my second favorite coaster to date.

Most lift hills are dull and uneventful. That certainly isnt the case with the Incredible Hulk. The entire lift hill is enclosed in a tunnel and on the way up Bruce Banner talked to everyone about a new and improved experiment. About 2/3 of the way up the lift hill, the Hulk kicked it into high-gear and the entire train was catapulted up the remaining part of the lift hill. But the action didnt stop there as following the sudden and exciting launch was a very intense barrel roll over a hundred feet off the ground. Needless to say it was very disorienting and there was some amazing hang-time through it. Then came a fast and furious drop followed by the massive cobra roll. It was amazing. The sheer size of it alone made it thrilling and exciting, but it also packed on some incredibly strong Gs that pinned me to my seat. Just when I thought that the cobra roll was exciting, then came the vertical loop that blew me away. I was completely glued to my seat and on the way down the Gs were unbelievable and I felt like my face was being ripped off. Immediately after that intense loop was a surprising mist-filled tunnel that completely surprised me. I had no idea that was there! Though short, the tunnel was quite refreshing and very cool. Following that was a speedy turn around the launch tunnel followed by a surprising corkscrew. It was fast and furious and also had a brief bit of hang-time. Then was a quick drop followed by yet another inversion, this time another vertical loop. Though not nearly as large as the first one, it was just as good, if not better. The loop was insanely disorienting as it circled around the mid-course brake run and the Gs yet again were very strong. Afterwards was around quick turn followed by the mid-course brake run. Though the brakes ruined some of the excitement, the brake run didnt completely ruin the rides speed. Following the brake run was a swift plunge that gave me a quick moment of ejector air-time, followed by another corkscrew that provided some really good hang-time. Afterwards were a few more low-to-the-ground turns (one of which that included the on-ride photo) and then finally the brake run. Plain and simple, the Hulk was incredible.

This was the highlight of my day and easily the second best roller coaster I have been on to date. The combination of the intensity, inversions, Gs, and relentless speed made the Hulk an exceptional ride. Get down to Florida and ride this B&M creation as soon as possible.</
