Review of Maverick @ Cedar Point

The Maverick is probably my favourite roller coaster. The ride packs non-stop fun. My favourites before riding it were the Millenium Force and the Magnum, and I didnt come in expecting it to top those two. It did. I prefer airtime to lots of twists, and the Maverick surpassed my expectations with its airtime. All the elements of the coaster work really nicely together. The tunnel launch is such an awesome thrill. Id definitely recommend it to anyone who like coasters. Its not too intense, too rough, or anything. Everythings just right!

Makes sense. Thank you. The edit feature wasnt so obvious, but I looked on the FAQ and saw my error. Thanks again.

I rode this again yesterday, and my thoughts from my first ride still held true. Great ride.

Ugh, the superfluous articles in front of coaster names really grind my gears... "the" Maverick, "the" Magnum, "the" Griffon

I think it has something to do with how we as coaster enthusiasts give rides a degree of personality that casual coaster riders dont bother looking into... maybe were just crazy...?

I never really noticed the articles. Everyone in the Detroit area adds "the" in front of coasters names. I guess it just rubbed off on me.
