Review of Sky Princess @ Dutch Wonderland

The Sky Princess is easily one of the best coasters I have ever been on. In the heart of the Amish Country is CCIs first wooden coaster, the Sky Princess. Unlike others, I actually really like the Sky Princess unique paint job of sky blue and purple. Originally I was going to skip the Sky Princess because I was too scared to go on it (my previous biggest coaster was probably the one at Santas Village in NH). I finally worked up the nerve to ride and Im glad I did. I have been on the Sky Princess many times and never have had to wait more than 5 minutes (even on Saturdays when I waited for the front seat!). Though only one train is run, the Sky Princess obviously doesnt need a second. Like with most coasters, the front is the way to go on the Sky Princess. The first drop was very good and the following hill and turnaround was very smooth and fun. Then came a tunnel and a few fun bunny hills. At the end of the ride was a zippy little helix that was an excellent touch. I loved how the ride was as smooth as silk throughout. Though not as long as other coasters, the Sky Princess is an excellent coaster for Dutch Wonderland and it was also my first wooden roller coaster.
