Playland Express is Playlands train ride and its a good one. Located in the back of Kiddyland, the Playland Express often isnt viewed as a family ride. However its not a kiddie train at and is definitely a family ride. Due to the many seats on the one very nice looking and well-maintained train, I have never seen a line for the Playland Express. Loading took quite a while for the Playland Express, but its forgivable as I think the operators were just waiting for more riders when I went on. Once the ride finally began, I realized that the Playland Express was probably one of the slowest train rides that I have ever been on. The first turn had some bushes that came very close to the ride itself and during the ride there were a few flowers here and there. However, my favorite touch by the Playland Express are the small painted boards that depict various scenes of New York City and the area Playland is in. They were easily the highlight of the ride and definitely helped me enjoy this ride more. Also, the layout isnt too large, but due to the relatively slow speed of the train, the course takes quite a bit to complete. Also, during the ride you get a great tour of Kiddyland and can see various rides. Overall, the Playland Express is a decent train ride that despite its location in Kiddyland is an excellent family ride for anyone who enjoys train rides or that just wants a relaxing ride.
