 Review of Starship 2000 @ Playland Amusement Park

this is a spinning ride that applies allot of g forces on your similar to The rotors. Though I didnt find this as enjoyable. The music was bad and loud. while The gs were strong they werent great and it s so dark in the ride I felt no sense of getting dizzy like you would on the rotor ride. The cycle was a bit short when it got going and you were pulled off the ground you were already starting to come down again. also this ride added a the carnival feel of the park and didnt help sustain any historic and classic feel for the park.

The Turkish Twist owns this ride. Whoever the operators are when I ride these Gravitron rides (at parks or carnivals), they always have bad and very loud music. I was disappointed by this one as all of the carnival ones I had been on gave very long cycles while this one was pathetic.

I think I woudl have enjoyed this more if the Sounds track was custom and for the rides actions. and maybe some lighting effect. The little bit of light in the middle moved with you which is why I didnt in the least bit get dizzy. The angle allowed for a stronger sensation with less RPMs. The dizziness for me is part of the overall ride and without that it felt incomplete.
