Review of Seyranyan Family Circus @ Clarks Trading Post

I have to give them some credit for the performance. It was entertaining and the contortionism was unbelievable. My only disappointment was that the show started 20 minutes late and did not include all the cast members. Maybe something happened and they decided, “the show must go on” improvising along the way. In any case, I have seen much better. Although Cirque du Soleil is a much bigger production it blows away eht Seyranyan Family Circus. For your entertainment dollar, I would try other local attractions or take a trip to Boston’s theater district.

Who was Missing? In general its only the 2 Daughters and Their parents. also did it take place in the Bear arena or the picnic pavilion? if it needed to be moved for some reason such as rain or threat of it would delay the show.

Yes, a very small production that was in the arena. I dont think anything was moved. The show was where we expected it, just not when we expected it.

MRC - I had been meaning to ask where they had the Circus from your pictures as I didnt see the cage.

Back to the review - Bummer that the show started late. Granted Cirque is a great show but costs a lot more money and you never get as close to the performers

That is highly surprising. also when did you go to the park. 1-2 years ago there was a deferent Family circuses and they were not near as good as the present family. Larry - The show I photographed was in the back of the Picnic pavilion. It rained on and off that day and they moved in under cover.

MRC - No it was the Seyranyan family I saw last year (Labor Day weekend 2006). They performed in the cage that the bears were in earlier.

Why is it surprising? You even asked in your first post if it took place in the Bear arena or the pavillion.
