 Review of Great Humbug Adventure, The @ Santas Village

I would have to agree that as dark shooting in the dark rides go, this one is prety lame. The only thing to shoot are the bugs (green 20 points, red 60 points). They are small little targets so they can be a challenge to hit. The guns sound effects are a plus and the bugs light up when you hit them (good visual feedback). The best part comes at the end when you can read your score on the board above and all the kids can compare how they did. My favorite line came from my very competitive brother-in-law who said "What, do you sleep with one of those under you pillow?"

I agree that this is the weakest of these dark shooting rides that I have been on, but its better than nothing. Also, keep in mind that this ride was placed in an old gift shop. Still, its a fun ride because I always love this type of ride.

It’s one of the last rides we do, and we only do it so that we can say we have been on all the rides in the park. Otherwise, I probably wouldn’t bother. It does add some diversity to the park since there isn’t anything else like it there. Also, there never seems to be a long line, so you can get in quick, plus the kids like it, which is all the matters to me.

I usually like to do this once or twice, but I do it near the beginning of my visit because this is one of their best attractions to me.
