"My neck, I cant take another ride!" Trust me you will feel this way after this ride. It is painful, rough, yet I loved it! This was my first large coaster, and it does not disappoint. In a way I prefer the roughness of this compared to say the more smooth steel rides. Upon getting into the cart I knew this was going to be great. The mini drop was a nice touch before going up the large chain lift. That lift takes a long time, the whole time the first ride I was thinking, "what did I get myself into?" My sister nearly fainted when she saw the rest of the ride, she did not know it was actually this big. The drop was great, a empty feeling inside, but I dont like the bank. The roughness there makes it feel like my neck will be dislocated! After a few semi-large drops there are much more small bumps and sharp turns to enjoy. One thing I really love about the Ghostrider is that it makes use of all its speed. After so many bumps I was wondering how friction did not slow down the beast. Very fun. At the end I was amazed and thought it was the most fun thing I ever rode. My sister was less amazed and more frightened, the ride was simply too rough and she went into a panic attack and even cried a bit. I dont know whether to be sad or laugh at this but it just goes to show that everyone feels different about different coasters! Highly recommended, enjoy the ride!

Very nice review, Im glad there are people out there who can see a good coaster through roughness, with all these "fake" wooden coasters coming out people are getting spoiled by their smooth rides, Welcome to the site.

I rode this again and it was even rougher! It hurts my neck a lot but it was still really fun. The airtime in the back was phenomenal.

Enjoying pain just makes you a masochist. GhostRider wasnt built to be rough. It took years of neglect to end up in its current state.

I believe you, and I would like it to be smoother, but I honestly dont mind too much. It isnt really painful, just really jerky and I suppose you could hurt your badly neck if you didnt brace for the turns. Besides, if I want a smooth ride I can go on basically all the other thrilling rides at Knotts excluding perhaps Boomerang which is not as bad as people say. Dont worry, Im not a masochist, I swear!

Last time I only rode once because it was a bit too much for multiple rides, but I just think it makes GhostRider more thrilling in the physiological sense.
