Review of Sky Ride @ Moreys Piers

This Poma sky ride looks like it was made to go on a ski slope but found its way to a pier instead. The station is sleek looking with an operator cabin above it complete with tinted windows; I think thats what it is at least. The trip from the station to the first support is extremely steep; after that the chairs slowly climb up and then level out. The sky ride must top out at some 100 feet as it glides close to the top of the Great White. The ride makes an aerial turnaround in the middle of the Great Whites canyon-esque wooden structure and completes the same trip only in reverse. The ride itself routinely stops, probably to let on handicapped or elderly riders. The chairs always rattle when running over the wheels atop the suports and when going around the turn, the constant ocean breeze makes the chairs shake a bit, and the chairs are as open as you can get. Definately not for people afraid of heights!
