The Crystal Palace was an effective diversion at Lakeside. Its a fun house where you simply navigate a maze of glass walls. I thought it might be kind of lame before entering, as its not very large and I could see fingerprints on the glass, which I thought would make it very easy to find the correct way through. I was quite pleasantly surprised. Though it did not take too terribly long to navigate, it did take longer and was more challenging than I had anticipated. My initial attitude of being too cool to walk through with my arms extended in front of me changed pretty quickly after bumping my nose several times, forcing me to feel my way through at a much slower pace. All in all, this was one of Lakesides many old-fashioned novelty attractions that made the park so worthwhile.
