This classic Herschell machine adorns "Restored 2005 signage, which is a damned shame. With the park closing this year, I can only hope this oldie but goodie is relocated again (it started in Alabama, if I recall correctly). The machine is in good condition - not mint, mind you, but good. There were several funky pieces, which was partially a bonus. All told, it was a good carousel hardware wise, but it suffered from not having the original band organ (they should move the Ruth & Sohns closer  ). Another slight bonus for a long cycle that only Knoebels flat-out beat.
