This is a carnival-style coaster on a figure-8 track with a couple of extra loops. It was late-night under a slight drizzle, so we talked the operator into giving us 6 loops in a row so we could admire the beautiful night-time neon of the rest of the park. I made friends with the dragon in the front car as we watched the drive mechanism. Its sort of a cog-wheel design: theres a foot-wide toothed track running the whole distance of the ride. Downhills were a little bit faster than ups, but only slight so. I dont think its on a gravitational ballistic trajectory like every other coaster. Is it all driven by an electric motor that travels along with the train? Beats me.
