Its good to see a coaster on this site thats not grossly overrated or unfairly slept on. For once the average rating matches up with mine. Anyway, Jokers Jinx is a good coaster with a thrilling launch that really gets that station buzzing with excitement. Its always fun watching the new riders reactions to the launch as the train almost dissapears before your eyes. I was glad to see this Flight of Fear clone was not enclosed because the coasters layout is quite a sight to behold. While JJ doesnt have the extensive theming of FoF, the funhouse themed station and tunnel as well and the color scheme is adequate. Like FoF at PKD the trains have changed to lap bar restraints, which makes this not only rideable but even enjoyable. There was extreme headbang on these clones, but now thats not a problem. (The only downside of the weird lap bars is that some larger riders may not be able to ride.) After the launch once you enter the tangled mess of steel you go right into a cobra roll. My favorite inversion would have to be the fourth and last, the corkscrew near the ground on the way out. Jokers Jinx has a great launch, some inversions, and a fun, twisted layout. Final Rating - 7.0 (Good)
