Review of Tour Train @ Lake Winnepesaukah Amusement Park

A pathetic excuse for a train. OK, perhaps Im being a little too harsh, but I love a good steam locomotive and think that the world would be better if there were more around. I had never been on a C.P. Huntington train so I couldnt legitimately judge them. Well, now I have and now I can say that they are on the low end of the theme park food chain, to use an analogy. The "locomotive" isnt too impressive, even though it was taken care of to the "highest" of Huntington standards. The ride wasnt the same, nowhere near as nostalgic or good as a steam-powered locomotive, but at least the nice course reviews the rating, even if just a bit.

This is the excuse of a locomotive that Huntington has endowed us with, thats what made it bad. IT just seemed like it lives a pathetic existence when you have trains such as those found in Pigeon Forge, Williamsburg and the former Six Flags Over Georgia.

Yes, it goes through the woods in the back of the park, under Cannon Ball, around half of the lake and then through the woods near the Boat Chute. The path was nice so that saved this thing from a 1 or 2. (Pic 1, Pic 2, Pic 3, Pic 4 just to show some examples of the path of the ride.
