Fast enclosed scrambler with a long cycle, however the lights were disappointing and I wouldve prefered real music to that beat stuff.

Have you been on the Astrosphere at Funtown?

The light show is much better at Funtown U.S.A., on the Astrosphere, but Canobies is faster. I rather Canobies scrambler, the Psycho Drome, because I found it more exciting.

I agree the Astrosphere is better on the show aspect. they really need to finish workign on that and start usign the strobs again. they coudl use a few more light and either program a light show that is the same every time or have a second empleye controle them

The Psycho Drome is faster than the Astrosphere, and they both have a light show. However, my favorite kind of scramblers are enclosed, fast ones, like Canobies. Also, this was one of my first scramblers.

It has lights I really wouldnt call it a show they barly even react to the music.

They just use the strobe lights to enhance the ride, to help create the illusion that you would hit someone, even more.

They definatly havent used the strobes the last two years I went to Canobie, are they holding out, or have they stopped using them all together?

I went on a Tuesday this year, and the strobes were working, along with the music.

The strobs are on a seporate switch they work but most of the operaters dont know how to turn them on. I just think the light show coudl be better.

But none-the-less, the Psycho Drome still is a great scrambler. Maybe Canobie could give it a new show, for 2006.

The ride itself is very good but the show cant be overly specific given the rides fast speed.

Good point. They still should get better music, and more strobe lights.

They have plenty of strobs they jsut need to use them

If they use all their strobes, the ride experience is far greater.

I woudl liek to see then start usign the strobs at the end of the ride.when they are slowing the ride down. It would be better then jsut turnign on the flud lights.

Maybe they could add a quick show at the end, while the ride is slowing down to make a better ride.

Posible but I dont see them doing much. the buildign really shoudl be rebuilt before anythign big is planed. Funtown also needs to build a building.

Maybe they dont use the strobes on this ride anymore cuz its a seisure hazard. But at least its still enclosed. There have been several deaths on enclosed scramblers in recent years, and Lake Compounce and SFNE have removed theirs
