I have noticed that this one and the one at Compounce barely get off the ground. This one has some nice old school theming which is what made me take a spin. The boat is huge but has way to much of a fair feel for me. I was very disapointed with every version of this that I have beenon East of Ohio. I have absolutely no idea how this has a 9 average. Nice look, weak short ride. I guess it does take about ten swings to finally come to a stop and it does have that wonderful tarp hanging on the side. Go to the midwest if you want a real swinging ship.

Far from it. Its the best Pirate Ive been on and its EAST of Ohio. Definitely worth checking out.

Cool. that is why I made sure I said every version I have been on East of Ohio. Im sure they are not all as disapointing as this one.

Seriously, I gave it a three rating. I said it barely got off the ground and had a tarp hanging from it. I said I was disapointed with every version east Ohio. It did have a couple positives which I mentioned, but I thought it was pretty obvous I did not care for it.

I spent some time talking to one of the Owners of the park about this ride. Unfortunatly the tarp is to make the neighbers happy. they were wining about the noise. as for the hight and speed. one of the moters are out and Since SDC is gone there isnt a proper moter available. They hope though to have the ride repherbed by Huss after the second moter gose out. I know Im a bit biased, I road this thing for a long time with both moters runing adn geting far better heights. I wish both of you could have riden this thing even 5 years ago.
