Nine or ten? Hmm... Its a tough one. Its near impossible to get an invert without the roughness in the elements, and thats my only slight complaint... You know what, Ill give it a ten. Its a great experience all the way through to the end, even with a little roughness. I really enjoyed it.

Thats weird, I usually find inverts to have the smoothest inversions of any type of coaster ride.

B&M Inverts are pretty smooth, but it appears Alpengeist isnt quite as smooth as the others.

I would not say its rough...I think a better word for it is intense. It just whips through the inversions, but the train still maneuvers the track flawlessly. Intense...not rough As relentless as Alpie is, I have yet to experience any headbanging

Im with fergusonat on this one...Alpie is very smooth. Going into the cobra roll the coaster has an amazing snap to it, however there was no headbanging when I was on it.

Im also with fergusonat on this one. Alpie was the most intense coaster that I have ever ridden, invert or not, but it was certainly not rough. I was in the front row and did not experience any headbanging, despite the fact that I experienced just about every other kind of force that I could imagine. I really need to ride this coaster again because I did not get the feeling of conquering it the first time around that I usually get after riding a particularly large, fast, or intense coaster. Alpie definitely won, but there is always round 2. Get ready Alpie! Im comming for ya, "and Im bringing hell with me!"

HMmm... You know its strange. I revisited the park the next day and rode it again and you know what? I sat on the edge and felt NO roughness! I mean, in constrast to other inverts, its perfect from where I sat. I dont know what it was, but it was fine from my seat on the edge. Hmmm...

The first time you ride it, you really dont know what to expect. Its a very intense coaster. The second day you rode it, you knew what you were getting into, so thats probably why you didnt mind the intensity as much
