Finally, another awesome flying scooter model. It had been a while since I had the joy of experiencing a good set, so I was ready to fly high. I first rode with a partner, and there was no snapping for me. Oh, I was sad a bit and let down too. Eventually, I was able to ride with some fellow TPCers. This time, I was flying solo, but still couldnt get it. Finally, a bit of a lesson and I was off at it again. About halfway through the ride, I had finally gotten it. I then enjoyed another ride and had even more snapping fun. However, I probably should have ridden again, but it was a short day. The ride was good, but suprisingly different than the snappable set at Carowinds. For these, you needed a whole different pattern and didnt even have to throw your weight around, so less work for me. While I did indeed snap them at Carowinds, I have to wonder if it was just by luck now. I guess it will wait until I visit again. This ride is still awesome though, even if Im only giving a 9. I probably could have used another ride or two to get some more under my belt and bump it up to a 10, but I will stick with a strong 9 and call it a great flat ride, among my favorites. The cycle is incredible: they run it at least 5 mins, which is twice as good as other sets I have ridden. The unloading is quick too, they seem to come to a rest better than the ones at Carowinds, but perhaps that was just due to it being their first day of operation when I went. Oh yea, that motor thingy was, well, um... rustic. Ill give it a 9 for now and it barely misses being a 10.
