Incredibly fun coaster. Though I am not the one to endorse launched coasters, this was one of the few special ones. Sure, I gave it a nine, but Im just tough. The launch was packed tight, up there with the best of them. The top hat was typical: even though it was pretty short it still gave you that half a second to look around. From there you dive into the valley and thats where the fun starts, with the inversion-driven layout. Yes, rocket coasters can have layouts. The Immelman was big and definately fun, and after that and the following dive you hit the centerpiece of the ride. First you stream through the zero-G roll and then you just keep rolling, and then you dive. That flying snakedive (or whatever they named it) contraption was something else, and totally unexpected and a thrilling sensation. It really disoriented the riders. Back down you go into the valley and then you hit the overbank. My thoughts on the overbank is that it was taken at wild speed and it really tossed the riders. However, Intamin and Hershey put shoulder harnesses on the ride. I would have loved the trick track emulation, but it killed my neck on those harnesses, which may be the deciding factor between a 9 and a 10. Still a fun ride. You then fly up into the bunny hop and hit the downward-sloping brake run, something that I had seen, for the first time, just two days before so it was neat to me.I enjoyed the ride, I cant complain much. The park was good with its operations, except they didnt know that a line spilling out of the queue was only an hour, not an hour and a half. Maybe they were covering their tails. The rides station was clean and an effective duel loader, which many parks have trouble with.At first I was thinking 8, after my daytime ride in the second car, first row, left seat, but then I rode at night in the same exact seat and the ride became even more disorienting and rambunctious, much like a bucking horse. Thats where the 9 really strengthened its case, and I also liked how they lit up the tower at night. The multi-camera onride photo thing was cool, instead of 10 short flashes we got one big flash.I will settle with a 9 and it will slip into my top 10, but it is low on the pecking order and most likely wont stay for long. I enjoyed it best out of the rockets that Ive been on, and wouldnt mind riding it over and over.

Good review. Yes, that is a "Flying Snake Dive". I gave it a 10 because of the great day that we had at the park and the fact that I have not been on many coasters. Im starting to get tough with my ratings now too, but dont really think that Im going to be changing this rides after I start to get one others just because of the great experience that the day at the park and the ride gave me that day and night.
