 Review of Tidal Force @ Hersheypark

I liked this ride, but it was nothing special. I did not get as soaked as I thought I would, but the lift hill leading up to the drop makes for suspense and uneasiness, although the drop is just like something youll see at any ride like this. What happened with this crash people are talking about?

Last I was there July 04 you could see the splash from about halfway across the park. I believe this is the best version of this ride that does not include theming.

The crash happened in 2002 or 2003. The operator accidentally hit the emergency stop button after a boat had cleared the lift hill. Instead of landing in water, there wasnt any, so it kept on going, and it crashed into a bunch of rocks.
