Its my number one Top 10 coaster so I had to give it a perfect score. I was dumb-founded when I learned of its arrival to the POINT. 10 records broken--I thought to myself that I have to get to the POINT. It was my first trip to Cedar Point period after studying the park for 2 years. I skipped everything else and went straight to the line, which was already long by the time I arrived on opening day. The ride was having some major downtime, due to concerns with the magnetic lift and b/c it was brand new and havent been broken in yet. After a 2-3 hour wait, I boarded this stellar coaster. I was blown away by the length of time it took to get to the top of the 310 ft tall lift hill. I made the mistake of looking to my left, which was nothing but water all the way to the city. I thought to myself, "Its too late to turn around now!" Then we ascended the crest and began our descent. I began my descent too, the descent of my eye lids that is. The drop felt like we tucked back under the lift slightly. I was like dag, man. All I know is that we were going very fast through overbanked turns, over large hills, through tunnels, in the turnaround and I remember that the speed seemed so great that my face was pinned back. I had never experienced anything like this. I recommend that all true thrill seekers or those who think they are, if you havent done it already, you need to get to the POINT! It is worth the trip if this is all you rode and I dont mean that as an overstatement. Cant wait to ride Top Thrill Dragster this summer.
