Kaleidoscope was a nice little scrambler. The park ran it at a pretty good clip, and for a nice duration, so it combined an intense ride over a long time, while many scramblers lack one or the other. I have always been a fan of scramblers, at least since I grew up on the one at American Adventures. The centrifugal intensity is always fun... man I love to squish people while rotating. Carowinds is taking good care of it, and since it was practically deserted I think it is overlooked and somewhat of a hidden gem among the array of Carowinds flats. This one ranks up near the top of the park and should not be missed (but do its neighbor Scream Weaver first... it still rules that side of the park).
