Review of Wheelie @ Six Flags Over Georgia
-1 Rating Posted by: bunkleg on 4/9/2005 7:50:00 PM
I hated this ride! There is no seat-belt. I kept on sliding forward in my seat, I thought I would hit my head or something. Im never riding it again.

I dont see how. Going up the forces are so high that you are pinned against the back, and going down as long as you dont have your feet in the air you will stay planted. I dont think you know how to ride it or something, Ill teach you how to ride it because it is a phenomenal flat ride, and not being restrained makes it even better! Still, and ok review even if I dont agree with it, but dont you think thats a bit harsh? Im 63 and dont come near anything to hit my head on... eh, whatever.

Each time I went up, I had to push down on the side to keep myself steady. This has happened more than once.

Do you were swimtruniks or hit the water park first? Im tryign to figure out why you have a problem but none of use seem to.

We dont have a water park (yet at least, Skull Island will kind of be a small waterpark).

I rode again yesterday, and unless you are a dwarf and cant reach the floor, you will not slide up. And how you hit your head is beyond be because a) I am 63" and have a little bit of clearance left and b) the ceiling is padded anyway, so its not like it would hurt. If you hit your head on the side, then you need to sit strait up, if you hit your head on the front, you are doing somethng bizare because you would have to TRY to hit your head that way... the conclusion here is that the ride is safe. On the way down your body will try to move down but as long as you have your feet on the floor it will be over in a second and you will be pressed to the back of the car on the way up again.

On a side note, I had considered lowering my score to an 8 due to a short ride cycle earlier this season but yesterday we got 3 or 4 spins at max height so I will stick with a 9.

I rest my arms on the side of the cage and I dont seem to move too much. Pic look at the lowest metal bar on the cage, thats what I hold on to.

Ok, I went on it. It wasnt as bad as last time, but I still was sliding forward in my seat. I held on, but it still did it. It was fun when we werent upside down, so Ill change the rating from a 1 to a 5.
