I thought that Hurler was a poor coaster, and Im personally suprised because the sites overall ranking for this Hurler is almost 100 spots better than the Kings Dominion one, and I preferred it over this Carowinds version. The reason why is mainly due to my rides: I rode Hurler in both the front and the back, and they together gave similar, yet slightly rougher rides than the KD version. I cant deny that the air wasnt pretty good, and I still get a kick out of the unique design of the ride, but even up front I was rattled (a lot) and the trains just didnt seem to hug the track well. Also, this coasters station was probably the worst I have ever seen in person, so there goes another point and looking at my rating of 7 for the PKD Hurler, I arrive at a 5 for the Carowinds version. A little retracking and maybe (just maybe) a half-decent station would make this ride a whole lot better.
