Review of Revenge of the Mummy @ Universal Studios Florida

This is a psychological thriller with several surprises best enjoyed the first time. The ride makes use of misdirection, and does a few things the rider doesnt expect. I agree that they could have added several things to make it more thrilling. I would have given this a "9" if they had an animitronic mummy pop up over the edge of the car and breath hot steamy mummy breath on the riders. I suppose they dont want people to die of a heart attack though. The special effects were inconsistent. On my second ride, the green light in the mummys mouth didnt work, but worked again on the third ride. Also, the red steam after the fake station was inconsistent. The end was a dissapointment. If they put a couple more million dollars into this ride and gave it a more believable fake station, mummy-on-car, and a real conclusion, then this would be the best ride ever.

What ride do you know of that has everything work perfectly every ride? How much more money do you want them to spend, is $40 mil not enough? Do you want them to customize the ride just for someone from 1500 miles away? Blah, I think you were expecting a bit too much, and once again, the mummy-on-car rumor hurt the rides chances to impress people

Right bob,Sometimes things dont work well on every ride.Especially with the new special effects sometimes may not work. The ride is perfect the way it is.No more effects need to be added to the ride and none deffently dont need to be taken out.

You shouldnt lower the rating of a ride because a rumor that appeared turned out to be false. Then, lowering the rating because on a couple of ride some lights werent working? Show me something that works 100% of the time. Freakin moron.

Hey now, I wouldnt call him a freakin moron. He gave it a seven, which isnt bad. The mummy-on-car thing would cost more than a couple million dollars though, which is why I never believed that rumor in the first place.

I am not calling him one becuase he gave it a seven, I am caling him one because of why he gave it a seven.

OK, I agree his reasons are stupid, but a seven seems pretty generous as it seems he didnt think much of the ride.
