Review of Big Bad Wolf @ Busch Gardens Williamsburg

This is the best suspended coaster, though I suppose that isnt saying all that much. These rides just arent capable of many elements. The theming is superb in the first half, as is the swinging of the cars. And the second drop is easily the most intense youll find on a suspended. I might have given it a 9, but the line was very slow and it had matinence problems every day I was there.

Im not quite certain. The first day I was there, it was down all of the day and it opened later. I got into the line, and they were running the train over and over with no one riding. It was close to closing, and it was taking a while. The other days it was down at times but was better.

Soem sort of maintanince problem. When I went we were just about to get one and they stoped the ride for a general inspection. Glad you got to go on it though. its one of the best coasters you can find.

Yeah, it would have been nice to have ridden it a few more times, next time I guess.

From what I have found out it seams this coaster was desinged by Schwarzkopf and built by Arrow.

Nope, it was designed by Ron Toomer

"In 1978, while building the Big Bad Wolf suspended coaster, Schwartzkopf declared bankruptcy." Arrow was brought in to finish the project of his disign.

Well, isnt there a difference between building and designing? Because as far as I can tell, Ron Toomer was the designer and Arrow built the ride.

Where did you get that from, because I find it odd that not one place on the internet says that, not to mention the fact that the website devoted to Schwarzkopf didnt say that. In 1978, he was busy designing my good ol Mind Bender. Now, in 1983 he did indeed declare bankruptcy (for the first time ) and was working on a sort of "flying coaster" for Busch, but he did not design Big Bad Wolf, rather, once he went Bankrupt Busch went to Arrow and had them do the project.
