This is Magic Mountains original coaster, an Arrow mine train built in 1971, and how far we have come since then. However, as far as I am concerned, Gold Rusher does everything right for a mine train coaster. It doesnt have the worlds tallest drops or the fastest speed, but its not supposed to. It does provide a nice trip through the woods and along the hillside, and you get pretty good views of the Log Jammer, Superman, and the Scrambler. For the wildest ride, sit in the back, and enjoy being yanked into the spiral finale. This is an appropriate coaster for the entire family, and you can usually walk right on, so dont pass it up just for the newer stuff.
