The Dollywood Express is my favorite attraction at the park (Hey, Im more of a Railfan than a coaster fan  ). The parks two beautiful steam locomotives, #192, "Klondike Katie" and #70, "Cinderella" are wonderfully maintained and put on a spectacular show as they climb up the parks 5% grade to the top of Shield Mountain.
Unfortunately, the train robbery was discontinued lately, but I dont mind since the more recent ones were not as funny as the ones from the early 90s.
No trip to Dollywood is complete with a ride on the Steam Train. Be sure not to miss it!
(BTW, for those who dont mind the noise, you can ride up in the engine with the engineer if you want to...just ask the conducter at the train depot, and theyll arrange for you to ride up front on the next trip the train makes)
