the setting is great and the layout ok. The drop is steep and quick. You get a reasonably good splash but you got get hit much.

Yeah, I loved being up on the side of the mountain, but the scraping noise and the plastic ride track took away from the ride.

Somthing as simple as a new pump system would help this problem so much.

And when theres only 2 people in your party they make you both sit up front. It would balance the boat out better if they let one sit in front and the other in back, and it would be less likely to scrape the bottom.

I figuerd the same thing. I even tride to sit in the back and they stoped me and mad me move up front. they woudlnt let the boat out of the station utill I moved to the front. they know nothign about these rides aparintly.

Ive been on some flume rides, where it felt like if all the weight wasnt in the front, the boat wasnt gunna catch the belt. Maybe theyre just paranoid.

True but if the ride is that porly set up then they need to look into replacing it.

Theyll hafta do something soon otherwise the boats are goona start leaking, although some of them should be refurbished/replaced anyway.

I would honistly prefer they get a new one. go with Hopkins and get a brand new ride system.

It would be nice if they got a new one that was a little longer and had two drops instead of just one. Theres plenty of room on that side of the mountain to expand it and make it a little more interesting. Ive never heard of Hopkins before. Is it a new manufacturer, cuz its not listed on the flat joint.

I did a RCDB search on Hopkins, not because I didnt believe you, just wanted to see what they had for coasters. I found 5 still opperating in the US and 1 in Japan. Thats all I have to contribute.

Ive only been on one of their coasters. The Poler Coaster at Story Land Glen,NH. its a great coaster for a family ride. its set up on the side of a hill. They also referbed the canobie Corkscrew. and the splash on there Shoot-The-Chute rides are mind blowing.
