Hmmm, what can I say about the West Coaster? Well, it is a roller coaster, so thats a plus! The train climbs an approximately 50-foot lift hill, then goes through a spiral at an extremely slow speed. You do, though, then get two nice little drops that provide some negative Gs, followed by another spiral (a little quicker this time) before reentering the station. It was kind of like an adult version of a kiddie coaster layout. In all honesty, this coaster wasnt that bad. You can see the entire ride from the pier, so you know exactly what youre getting into. It is a fun ride for pretty much anyone to enjoy, and I was watching people on board the trains as they pulled back into the station, and it really did seem like everyone was having a great time. This coaster (along with all the other rides at the park) are built on an actual pier that extends out a bit over the ocean. Add that to the fact that you get two circuits around this thing, and you have a coaster that is a pleasant ride experience rather than an intensely thrilling one.
