After riding Millennium Force, I truly believe that this is the best ride in the world and is the ultimate goal of any coaster enthusiast. This ride is just phenomenal. I had huge expectations for this ride, and the coaster exceeded all of them. My ride in the front seat of Millennium Force first thing on a sunny morning was something I will never forget. The view of the lake from the lift hill is breathtaking. The fast lift is great, and throws you into the first drop. The first drop at 300 is the best in the world as the train plummets down at 92 mph. The overbanked turns are pretty cool. The third hill is another highlight of the ride. The whole thing from start to finish is a blur, as Millennium Force zooms through its long course at ridiculously high speeds. This coaster is my new number one ride. I must admit that Superman:Ride of Steel at SFNE was probably a better-designed overall coaster, but the shear size of Millennium Force and its awe-inspiring first hill are too much to pass up. It is not the amazing first drop, blistering speeds, jaw-dropping sturcture, or any one thing that makes this coaster the best. It is simply an unexplainable experience. And yes, the trip up the lift hill is something that all coaster enthusiasts will consider sacred. Millennium Force has almost become the prime example of what all modern coasters strive to achieve. When one looks at pictures and videos of the coaster, it almost becomes fake, like a dream. The feeling when you actually realize that you are riding on the best coaster in the world is amazing. Millennium Force is unbdoubtedly the best ride in the world!
