This is te dumbest tour ever. Its nothing but a tourist trap and a gift shop. Its just boring and slow. Why cant we see real chocolate being made rather than plastic.

Im not sure how a free admission ride and gift shop is a tourist trap but hey whatever. as far as the real tour goes they used to have one but im sure one time some person with an 86 iq got hurt by not following directions and then tried to sue. I mean if you can sue because coffee is too hot and supersizing makes you fat and pro wrestling and video games killed my brother im sure you can sue on a chocolate tour.

I guess I wasnt clear. The function of the Hershey tour is to get you into the gift shop, not teach you about Chocolate. Most Zoos and Museums (I hope) are not simply about getting people into the gift shops.

The Company used to have a tour when few people came to Hershey, PA The factory that used to be right next to the parkign lot became too small and befor that visiting Groups started geting too big. Hershey built a new factory ferther aways but still in the area and a many years after and allot of upset people wanting to see how choclet was maid they built the dark ride. later they added on to it and opened the gift show which was mostly to set choclet factory outlet style. peopel were asking abotu it before heand. the gift shop greww and a few years ago they fronted the themed the buildign adn added the 3D movie. Its not a turist trap if it was then the dark ride and 3D(yes its a little extra) would have been instaled in the park. there out side.
