Like what everybody has said, this one is not to be missed. Only the Boulder Dash and the now defunct Mountain Park Flyer gave a more intense roller coaster ride. The first drop dropps you like a ton of bricks quickly followed by one of the most hell bent for leather journeys back to the platform. The Cyclone has everything a fan of wooden coasters desire...airtime, hard turns, and steep drops. The day we went to NYC and made the journey to Astroland, there was almost nobody riding the Cyclone, therefore we kept feeding our money to the attendants who happily provided up with 17 rides!

for 17 rides with the first ride being $5 and the next 16 at $4 a piece, you could have spent $69. Although, I hope one of the "boys" running the ride gave you a couple of buybacks.

Shelling out that much money for one coaster you know this ride earned its rating from Cairn.
